Found an error in the system,
"unfortunately, setting has stopped"
Stuck at language selection page. couldn't go in to the main menu.
Possible cause: flashed a custom ROM.
Possible Solution
- Update/Flash via Recovery
copy the zip file to your SD card root folder (not inside any folder)
Rename it into update.zip
Boot your phone to recovery via Volume up + Power, after vibrate, release the power button
Choose install update.zip
Proceed
Try the method below if the method above is not working
- Flash ROM via MiFlash Tool
Whats Needed:
Download MiFlash Tool > Install
Download Fastboot ROM for model needed
Extract Fastboot ROM xxx.tgz (if its .gz change it to .tgz)
Open MiFlash Tool
Click browse, Select the extracted folder
Turn on phone in fastboot mode via Volume down + Power, after vibrate, release the power button
Plug in to PC, let it install the driver
Click refresh on MiFlash Tool
Click flash
Done
If there is any issue after flashing, go to recovery, wipe all data.
